U of M’s Fogelman College Will Host Alumni Day Oct. 28

The Fogelman College of Business & Economics Alumni Chapter will host its 17th annual Alumni Day Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the University of Memphis Holiday Inn, 3700 Central Ave. The keynote speaker will be Lane Carrick (BPS ’03), chairman and CEO of Sovereign Wealth Management and chairman of Triumph Bank.
The chapter will recognize Ben Watkins (BBA ’78), member of Watkins Uiberall PLLC, as Outstanding Alumnus; Chris Chu (BBA ’00), co-founder/strategic sales for Electronic Vaulting Services (EVS) Corp., as Outstanding Young Alumna; Gary Wunderlich (MBA ’95), CEO of Wunderlich Securities, as Entrepreneur of the Year; and Joseph DeVivo, president of orthopaedics for Smith & Nephew Inc., as Distinguished Friend of the College. DeVivo is a graduate of the University of Richmond.
Again this year the College will host the Alumni Guest Professor Program, in which Fogelman alumni return to the classroom to share their knowledge and experiences with students. Tickets for the luncheon are $55 per person or $500 for a table of 10.
